Not All Parents Catch Covid From Children

Dr Paul Ettinger speaks to the Liverpool Echo discussing why some parents don’t always catch Omicron from their children.
Dr Ettinger outlines two primary reasons why this can be the case; The viral load (amount of virus in the body) that the child has. If they don’t have a high viral load, they may not be as transmissible. The other reason is the immunity of the mother or the father which can result in not catching Covid at all, or not showing symptoms if they do.
