Dr Stuart Sanders, of The London General Practice, discusses the alarming rise in measles cases in the UK and identifies the lowered rate of vaccination in Britain as a potential cause. With a drop in child vaccination there are concerns that it will effect our “herd immunity” which the vaccine typically provides.
Some symptoms to look out for include prolonged fever, lack of appetite and respiratory problems.
